Terms of use
This agreement outlines your obligations as a member and explains our obligations to you. By enrolling as a RebateFox.com member you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Site Membership and Termination of Accounts
RebateFox.com only allows one account per person. You must be a over 18 years of age to qualify for a RebateFox.com account and receive cash back rebates.
We reserve the right to refuse membership. Further, we reserve the right to terminate your RebateFox.com account without notice at any time.
2. Cash back Rebate Rewards
As a RebateFox.com member you will earn a percentage 'cashback', 'Rebate' or cash reward from a number of retailers as illustrated on the RebateFox.com member's website.
We will make every effort to ensure cash back rebate offers are correctly illustrated.
It's important to note that all transactions you make are not with us but the individual retailer.
Your RebateFox.com account will only be credited when the retailer confirms your transaction. Sometimes this happens immediately, although often our retailer's process transactions when their returns policy date has expired (this can be 30 days plus).
Should the goods be refunded or the sale otherwise reversed then the cash back rebate payment will not be made.
Cashback rewards can only be paid when a RebateFox.com member has logged into our site and accessed the retailer's site via a link from the member's area.
All transactions are electronically logged and reported back by the retailer. RebateFox.com will make every effort to ensure that retailer's are correctly reporting cashback sales however we cannot be held responsible should the retailers systems fail to report back your sale. (In the rare case that this occurs we will make every effort to negotiate the cashback reward from the retailer on your behalf; however the retailer's decision is final).
3. Payment Schedule
Cash back rebate payments will be issued monthly, 30 days in arrears providing your account balance exceeds $25 at RebateFox.com. Accounts under this amount will be carried forward to the next month.
Should a retailer delay payment or cease trading then we will make every effort to recover your cash back rebates however RebateFox.com makes no guarantees to payment until funds have been received from the retailer or their agents.
4. Members Newsletter
All members will receive a weekly newsletter, providing updates on the latest RebateFox.com member’s offers and site updates. It is a condition of membership that you provide and maintain a valid email address to receive this weekly email.
NB. As per our privacy policy your email address will not be sold or shared or rented to a third party.
5. Dormant Accounts
In the event that your RebateFox.com account is dormant (showing no transactions and/or logon activity) for a period exceeding 12 months then we reserve the right to terminate your account.
6. Modification of Agreement
We may modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, at any time and in our sole discretion by posting a revised agreement on the RebateFox.com website.
7. Miscellaneous
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without reference to rules governing choice of laws.
Our failure to enforce your strict performance of any provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of our right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision of this Agreement.
8. Privacy Policy
Our privacy policy outlines exactly how we handle your account information and the steps we take to ensure your privacy.
For each unregistered/non-member visitor to our Web page, our Web server automatically recognizes no information regarding the domain or their e-mail address.
We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail storing information volunteered by members, such as survey information and site registrations.
We do not share, sell or rent your email address, postal address or any other data we hold about you to any third party.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages, used to customize the content of our page individual visitor's and to provide accounting for our cashback rebates with our retail partners who you may choose to purchase from.
With respect to cookies: We use cookies to record user-specific information on what pages users access and also to track what cashback rebates are due to you from your purchases with our retail partners.
From time to time, we may use customer information for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will contact you before we use your data for these new purposes to notify you of the policy change and to provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses.
Customers may prevent their information from being used for purposes other than those for which it was originally collected by contacting us via our contact form.
Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information [including proprietary information] that we maintain about them, including unique identifier information (e.g., member number and password), transaction information (e.g., dates on which customers made purchases, amounts and types of purchases) and contact information (e.g., name, address, phone number).
Members can access this information by e-mailing us using the contact us form.
